ABOUT
The Municipalities of Val Rita-Harty, Opasatika, Moonbeam and Kapuskasing have proudly partnered to offer the residents of highway 11 a new, door to door public transportation service. This shuttle service, called FLEX, will pick up residents of Moonbeam, Kitigan, Val Rita, Harty and Opasatika at their door and will drive them wherever they want in Kapuskasing, and then back home.
See the schedule for days and time.
Starting October 7, 2019, board our accessible FLEX Shuttle to go to medical appointments, to visit friends, to attend events, or to run errands in town.
For the launch, every passenger will ride for FREE in October.
As of November 1, users will have to pay per ride or buy a pass.
Things to note:
-
First come, first serve. No one has priority.
-
You must indicate all your stops and the number of passengers.
-
If you do not get a call back, your seat is confirmed.
The Flex Shuttle service is a 4-year rural transportation pilot project financed through a $500,000 provincial grant and contributions from all partnering municipalities.
